HB 497 Caption: Relating to amending the Penal Code by re-defining the offense of "Procuring" and making punishment therefor, a fine or imprisonment in the County jail or the female a competent witness to testify for or against the accused, notwithstanding the existence of the marriage relation, providing that the testimony so given shall not be used against any female in any criminal action, and further declaring an emergency and providing that the accused may be convicted under the uncorroborated testimony of an accomplice.
HB 514 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes to provide that the annexation of one or more common school districts or one or more independent school districts having less than two hundred fifty (250) scholastic population to a common school district having four hundred (400) or more scholastic population or to an independent school district having two hundred fifty (250) or more scholastic population shall not be authorized without the approval of the majority of the duly qualified voters of each district affected.

HB 389 Caption: Relating to provide that it shall hereafter be unlawful for any state agency created under Section 59, Article XVI, Constitution of Texas, to acquire any properties, other than movable personal property not affixed to the freehold, by purchase, lease or otherwise, outside the territorial limits of such agency as fixed by the Legislature; providing penalties for the violation hereof; repealing all laws and parts of laws in conflict herewith.
HB 390 Caption: Relating to provide that it shall hereafter be unlawful for any state agency erected under Section 59, Article XVI, Constitution of Texas, to acquire any electric properties in the incorporated limits of any city however incorporated without first obtaining the consent of such city by ordinance duly passed by the governing body thereof; providing penalties for the violation hereof; repealing all laws and parts of laws in conflict herewith.
HB 391 Caption: Relating to provide that it shall be unlawful for any state agency created under Section 59, Article XVI, to operate any properties, except those owned by such agency, or under lease to such agency, or to have or maintain discriminatory rates or to establish any rates except the published rates applicable to all falling within the classifications established in such published rates; providing penalties for the violation hereof; repealing all laws and parts of laws in conflict herewith.

HB 394 Caption: Relating to providing that each state agency created under Section 59, Article XVI, Constitution of Texas, shall create a special fund for flood control, levees, reclamation and drainage of overflowed lands and the conversation and development of forests within its territory as fixed by the Legislature, and shall deposit therein annually a sum equal to at least 15 per cent of its gross electric revenues for the preceding calendar year, to be expended only for such purpose; providing penalties.
