HB 13 Caption: Relating to appropriating funds to the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas in the sum of Thirteen Thousand, Two Hundred and Fifty-five Dollars ($13,255.00) as an emergency appropriation to be expended before September 1, 1945, to enable said Institution to further study a plant disease known at "cotton wilt" or verticillium wilt, which is becoming prevalent in some sections of the State and is preventing the normal production to an alarming extent, in addition to its injury to the fiber and staple of cotton, and it is likely to spread over a vast area of the cotton producing area of the State.

HB 31 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes by providing that whenever any property of an estate is ordered to be sold, and a bound made by the executor or administrator therefor, that same be in an amount equal to the value totally received by said estate from said sale, if the surety of said bond is a domestic or foreign corporation permitted to do business in this State.

HB 175 Caption: Relating to amending the Revised Civil Statutes relative to providing that the governing boards of the several institutions of collegiate rank, supported in whole or in part by public funds appropriated from the State Treasury, are annually authorized and directed to exempt from the payment of tuition fees five students from certain nations.
