HB 39 Caption: Relating to comprehensively regulating the sale of insurance securities, regulating dealers, agents and salesmen who sell same, and entitled "The Insurance Securities Act," defining words and phrases.
HB 46 Caption: Relating to constituting the owner of the soil the Agent of the State for the purpose of leasing all of the minerals, other than oil and gas, that may be upon and within surveyed public free school lands and asylum lands and portions of such surveys that have heretofore been sold with all minerals reserved to the State; providing for 3/4 of all bonuses, rentals, and royalties to be paid by the lessee to the State.
HB 306 Caption: Relating to setting forth the manner and form in which stock certificates shall be issued by any corporation organized under the laws of the State of Texas and how such stock certificates shall be signed; providing for the use of a facsimile corporate seal; providing for the use of a facsimile signatures of officers of such corporations on a certificate countersigned by a transfer agent or registered by a registrar.
HB 360 Caption: Relating to amending the Texas Election Code by changing the date for assessment of the costs of holding the general primary election and by changing the date for payment of such assessments.
HB 428 Caption: Relating to authorizing the Commissioners Courts of the State of Texas to expend county tax money for the purpose of acquiring lands for public dumping and garbage disposal ground for the use of the residents of said county so acquiring such sites, and giving counties the right of eminent domain with certain exception in acquiring such necessary grounds; relating to making the Act applicable only to counties having a population of three hundred thousand (300,000) or more, according to the last Federal Census.
HB 435 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts by providing for the licensing and regulation of dealers in real estate; prohibiting the unlawful practice of law; defining terms; providing penalties for violation of this Act; providing a savings clause.

HB 4 Caption: Relating to facilitating vehicular traffic in the State of Texas by providing for the construction, maintenance, repair and operation of a Turnpike Project; creating the Dallas-Fort Worth Turnpike Authority and defining its powers and duties; providing for financing the construction of such Project by the issuance of turnpike revenue bonds of the Authority, payable solely from tolls and other revenues to pay the cost of maintenance, repair and operation of such Project and to pay such bonds and the interest thereon.

HB 147 Caption: Relating to authorizing the State of Texas to raise funds through a medium of advertising in textbooks which are State-owned; to use the money earned and saved by and through said advertising to purchase text books, school library books, school supplies and other library books bought and paid for by the State; for payment of teachers' salaries, for rehabilitation of delinquents, for buildings, furnishings and materials and supplies needed for research in incurable diseases of children, to aid children with incurable diseases, and for all costs pertaining to the carrying out of this Act; to manufacture book covers containing advertising; to use therefor prison labor from the State Penitentiary; to print advertising on designated State-purchased, State-used and distributed supplies; to provide for rebinding of all State-owned books by prison labor.
HB 148 Caption: Relating to authorizing the State of Texas to require all books for public use to be covered and that all books which are issued to the public, public library books, rental library books, school library books as well as the school text books which are now covered by requirement, college library books, university library books, and private and parochial school library books, and any and all books which are to be used by and reissued to the public shall be covered; fixing a penalty.
HB 149 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes so as to provide a change in the practice of removing book covers before each reissue; authorizing the use of plastic or comparable material on text book covers, library book covers and covers for other books issued to the public and requiring their removal at the close of each fourth (4th) semester of use.
HCR 31 Caption: Recommending the citizens of the State to use the state song "Texas, Our Texas" whenever possible.

HB 189 Caption: Relating to correction in the placing of insurance on real or personal property; providing that no person, firm or corporation shall, as a condition to, or in connection with, any loan on or sale of real and personal property, require that the insurance on such property be purchased from any particular person, firm or carrier;prescribing penalties for violation; providing for a savings clause; making the Act cumulative.
HB 643 Caption: Relating to validating orders entered by County Judges declaring the inhabitants of certain cities, towns or villages incorporated, setting forth the boundaries thereof and the Mayor and Alderman of such cities, towns or villages; providing that the officials named in such order shall constitute the officials of such city; enacting other provisions relating to the subject.

HB 527 Caption: Relating to making it a misdemeanor to require that policies of insurance or renewals thereof incidental to certain financial transactions shall be obtained from or through particularly designated insurance agents or insurance carriers.
HB 567 Caption: Relating to appropriating the sum of Three Hundred Dollars ($300) to satisfy and pay, according to terms thereof, that certain judgment rendered against the State of Texas in favor of Thomas H. Fort, in case number 33227-A, in the 96th Judicial Court, of Tarrant County, Texas, and said judgment having become final and no appeal prosecuted therefrom.
HR 77 Caption: Restricting the usage of the House Chamber by other parties until the Legislature adjourns Sine Die.
