HB 499 Caption: Relating to amending certain statute relating to the sale of beer and liquor in certain districts by extending the provisions thereof to authorize cities to prohibit by their charters, the sale of liquors and beer in their residence sections, or any other part thereof and that same shall be valid and remain in force and effect until such time as the charter provisions may be repealed or amended; providing a penalty against all persons who shall sell liquors or beer in districts in cities in which the same has been prohibited.
HB 516 Caption: Relating to providing that no person engaged in the retail selling of beer as a principal business, which said beer may be consumed upon the premises of sale, shall offer for sale or sell such beer between certain hours.
HB 716 Caption: Relating to authorizing County Treasurers in counties having a population of not less than one hundred twenty five thousand (125,000) nor more than one hundred seventy five thousand (175,000) inhabitants, according to the last Federal Census and containing two (2) cities of more than forty thousand (40,000) inhabitants according to the last Federal Census, to be paid in addition to all other compensation, a salary of not to exceed Six Hundred Dollars ($600.00) per year, to be fixed and determined by the Commissioners Court of such county for acting as custodian of the funds of Road District or Road Districts in such counties.

HB 73 Caption: Relating to providing for the sale by the State to the City of Port Arthur, Texas, a municipal corporation, and its assigns, a certain tract or area of land situated in Jefferson County, Texas, same being submerged lands constituting a part of the bed of Sabine Lake, retaining to the State all minerals therein.
HB 74 Caption: Relating to creating the "Lower Neces Valley Authority," a conservation and reclamation district under and with the powers provided in Section 59, of Article XVI, of the Constitution, to conserve, control, and utilize storm and flood waters of the Neches River and its tributaries, except said district shall have no power of taxation nor right to create any debt payable out of taxation.
