Resolution by Kemble that standing committees on the offices of the Comptroller and Treasurer investigate the financial condition of the State, 1/26/1874; Senate concurrent resolution by Wood authorized consolidation of Senate and House standing committees on Treasurer's and Comptroller's offices with joint special committee to investigate and report upon the state of the books and accounts in said offices; Kemble Chairman on part of House and W.D. Wood/W.R. Baker on part of Senate in joint committee reports (House Journal, 14th R.S., pp. 49, 55, 158-159, 201-202; Senate Journal, 14th R.S., pp. 46-47, 146-147, 182-183).
