SB 53, 36th R.S.
Relating to requiring the employment of citizens of the United States on public work, providing that any violation of the Act shall render all contracts with the State, county or municipality void, requiring all boards, officers, agents or employees of the State, county or municipalities having the power to enter into contracts for public work, to file in the office of the Commissioner of Labor Statistics the names and addresses of all contractors holding contracts with the State, county or municipality; requiring all contracts to keep a list of all employees stating whether they are natural born or naturalized citizens of the United States, and providing that all such lists shall be open to the inspection of the Commissioner of Labor Statistics; providing penalties.
