SB 379, 39th R.S.
Relating to providing that where the State of Texas through the Game, Fish and Oyster Commissioner, has issued a permit to excavate and take from any island reef, bar, river, creek, bayou or bay of this State marl, mud shell, oyster shell, sand and gravel, the State, at the request of the permit holder, shall have the right and power to condemn land for the purpose of erecting dredges and necessary equipments, railroad spurs, and of opening roads and passageways to said place of operation, including all such lands, right of way, easements and property aforesaid for the purpose of establishing and maintaining landings and providing moorings for barges and dredges and all equipments.
