HB 570, 37th R.S.
Relating to making an appropriation of the sum of twenty-five hundred dollars or so much thereof as may be necessary, when supplemented by a like sum by Glenwood Cemetery Society or citizens, to erect a monument in Glenwood Cemetery, near Groesbeck, in Limestone County Texas, to mark the graves of the heroes and martyrs who were slain by Indians in the defense of Fort Parker on May 18, 1836, and to create a commission for that purpose, and to erect such monument and for other purposes.
