HB 578, 43rd R.S.
Relating to providing and imposing an occupation tax on sales in intrastate commerce in this state of cigarettes according to their weight; providing that it shall be a felony for any person other than the Treasurer to print or engrave or aid or cause the printing or engraving of any stamps evidencing the payment of the tax levied by this Act, or who shall use or consent to the use of any counterfeit or unauthorized stamps, or shall place or cause to be placed on any individual package of cigarettes any such unauthorized or counterfeit stamps; providing for the penalty for such violation.
