Remarks: This Act takes effect September 1, 2007, except Section 9 takes effect immediately, and the changes in law made by this Act in amending Subsection (k), Section 481.074, and Section 481.076, Health and Safety Code, and in adding Subsection (q), Section 481.074, Health and Safety Code, take effect September 1, 2008. The change in law made by this Act in amending Subsections (b) and (k), Section 481.074, Health and Safety Code, takes effect only after certain specified conditions are met.
