SB 235, 55th R.S.
Relating to authorizing school districts having a population of more than 100,000 according to the last Federal Census, when authorized by an election held for that purpose, to levy, assess and collect, in addition to annual ad valorem taxes for current maintenance of public free schools, as provided by law, an additional ad valorem tax for the purpose of paying current interest and maturities on bonds issued for the purchase, construction, repair or equipment of public free school buildings and the purchase of land therefor, etc.
