Proposing an amendment to Article V of the Constitution of the State of Texas by adding a new section thereto to be known as Section 1b, authorizing the Legislature to provide for the retirement and compensation of County Judges, Judges of County Courts at Law and members of all Courts of record, on account of length of service, age or disability and their reassignment to active duty where and when needed; providing for the submission of the Amendment to the voters of the State; prescribing the form of ballot; providing for the proclamation and publication thereof; and providing for the necessary appropriation to defray necessary expenses for submission of this Amendment.
