HJR 11, 57th R.S.

Relating to proposing an amendment to the Constitution of Texas authorizing the Legislature to create agricultural commodity producers committees whose purposes shall be the expansion of markets for such commodities through advertising, public relations and other promotional work, and the development and carrying out of programs of education and research, and further authorizing the producers of the various agricultural commodities of this State to finance such activities by the levy of an assessment against themselves in an amount not to exceed one percent (1%) of the market value of the commodity upon which the assessment is paid.
