SB 1015, 64th R.S.
Authorizing the issuance by the State of Texas, any department, board, agency, or instrumentality of the State of Texas, any municipal corporation, any political subdivion, any district, authority or other political corporation of the State of Texas having authority to issue public securities in a form having appertaining thereto coupons and being unregistrable, having appertaining thereto coupons and being restistrable, having appertaining thereto coupons and being registrable as a principal only, or being fully registrable; defining public securities, defining fully registrable, providing for the exchange of such securities, providing that the registrar of fully registrable securities may be the comptroller of public accounts or any banking corporation or association at which the principal of such public securities shall be payable; eliminating the necessity for approval by the attorney general or registration by the comptroller of public accounts upon exchange or upon change in form of such securities; placing certain duties on the registrar as defined in the Act; making certain provisions as to cost and expenses in connection with registration and exchange of securities, including fees of the registrar; providing other matters in the premises.
