Authorizing the governing body of any hospital authority created as provided in the Hospital Authority Act or the County Hospital Authority Act, to lease to any person any hospital, or part thereof, owned by said hospital authority, to be operated as a hospital by the lessee under such terms and conditions as may be satisfactory to the governing body and the lessee; authorizing any such governing body to enter into an agreement with any person for the management and/or operation of any hospital, or part thereof, owned by said hospital authority under such terms and conditions as may be satisfactory to the governing body and the other contracting party or parties; defining the word person; providing for the authorization and execution of the lease or agreement; and declaring an emergency.
