Placing the state fire marshal under the authority of the Commission on Fire Protection Personnel Standards and Education and naming the state fire marshal executive director of the Commission; abolishing the office of Firemen's Pension Commission; transferring all powers, duties, appropriations, staff, records, inventory, and equipment of the Firemen's Pension Commissioner to the Commission on Fire Protection Personnel Standards and Education; transferring all equipment, inventory, staff, funds, and records related to the existing programs of the state fire marshal from the State Board of Insurance to the Commission; making other provisions relating to the organization, powers, duties, and authority of the Commission on Fire Protection Personnel Standards and Education; providing penalties.
