SCR 29 64-0 (1975) Author: Ogg, Jack Realizing the desperate need for finding new oil reserves, the need to halt, rather than hasten, the unemployment rate, and the need to protect not only the working man in Texas but also the citizens of the rest of the Country who are dependent upon Texas oil; and that the Congress of the United States discontinue all efforts to end the oil depletion allowance; providing for a copy of this resolution to be forwarded to the President and Vice-President of the United States, and to each Senator and Representative in Congress from Texas with the request that this Resolution be officially entered into the Congressional Record as a Memorial to the Congress.
