Relating to accepting the benefits and provisions of the Act of Congress authorizing the extension of Federal Aid for construction of toll bridges on the highways included in the Federal System, under certain conditions and limitations, 44 United States Statute 1398, approved March 3, 1927, to empower the Highway Commission of Texas to cooperate with the Federal Bureau of Roads in the Construction of such toll bridges under the provisions of said Act of Congress, including inter-state bridges, to appropriate and use State Highway Funds for such purpose and to levy and collect such tolls and to authorize the Highway Commission to cooperate and join with the appropriate authorities of an adjoining state in the construction of such bridges and in levying and collecting tolls and in carrying out the provisions of this Act and the said Act of Congress.
HB 108 41-5 (1930) Author: Storey, Cecil Relating to authorizing the Commissioners' Court of Wilbarger County, Texas, to contract and agree with the proper authorities of the State of Oklahoma for the construction of a public bridge across Red River at some point on the north line of Wilbarger County, Texas, and authorizing said Commissioners' Court of Wilbarger County, Texas, out of the Road and Bridge funds of said county to pay not more than twenty-five per cent of the cost of construction and maintenance, and authorizing the issuance of bonds or warrants for said purpose and to provide that the said bridge, when constructed, shall be a part of the public highways of the State of Texas, and to authorize the appropriation of funds by said Highway Commissioner to aid in the construction and maintenance thereof, on authority herein granted by authority of the Governor of Texas.

HB 18 31-3 (1910) Relating to amending "An Act to authorize Galveston county to build and own the combination roadway and bridge from mainland to Galveston Island, across Galveston Bay, to connect, a part of the roadways of the county on the island and mainland," by adding thereto Sections 1a and 1b, authorizing the commissioners court of said county to issue, for the purpose mentioned in said Act, bonds of the county bearing interest ast a rate not exceeding 6 per cent per annum.
