Recognizing the week beginning with April 5, 1975, as "Women's Airforce Service Pilots' Week in Texas, culminating after more than a quarter of a century in memorial dedication services at Austin, Texas, April 11, a program recognizing the heroic services and the supreme sacrifices of the 38 women pilot members of this unique group who gave their very lives in the flight service of their country, flying Army Air Corps military planes on wartime assingment; providing for copies of this resolution be prepared for the National Order of Fifinella, comprised of surviving WASPs and associates, for presentation to its national meeting in Reno, Nevada, June 19 through 22, 1975, as a token of high regard for their achievements and historic record of accomplishment in the field of national security and aerial defense from the 64th Legislature of the State of Texas.
