Relating to adult probation and parole; amending the Adult and Probation Law of 1957 adult probation and parole; providing that probated sentences may be granted in all felony cases, providing that juries in the trial of all criminal felony cases on a plea of guilty or not guilty may recommend probation of any sentence in such felony criminal action where the defendant has not theretofore been convicted of a felony in this or any other state; providing how such probation shall be applied for and that such recommendation shall be obligatory upon the court; providing for the introduction of evidence as the general reputation of the defendant where the defendant files and application for probation and states under oath that he has never been convicted of a felony and that his reputation is good; providing how a probated sentence granted by a jury may be revoked.
