HJR 82, 57th R.S.
Relating to proposing an amendment to the Constitution of Texas to provide that in addition to all other ad valorem taxes authorized under the Constitution and the laws of the State of Texas, Titus County be authorized and empowered to levy, assess and collect a tax not exceeding twenty-five (25₵) on the One Hundred Dollar ($100) valuation of taxable property in said County in any one year for the purpose of saying the principal and interest on any bonds issued by said County for the purpose of constructing and equipping a home or homes for the aged persons in said County, and to pay the maintenance and operation expenses thereof.
