SB 194, 54th R.S.
Relating to creating county-wide equalization school districts in all counties containing a population of not less than 20,000 nor more than 31,000, according to the last preceding Federal Census, and containing a valuation of Fifty Thousand ($50,000) Dollars or more; providing for the vesting of the general management, supervision, and control of the public schools and educational interests of such counties in the County Board of School Trustees and constituting such trustees as the Board of Trustees for such county-wide equalization districts; making provision for the levying of an equalization tax of not to exceed Twenty Five Cents on One Hundred Dollars ($100) valuation of property situated within the county.
