HB 247, 52nd R.S.
Relating to enabling the Commissioners' Court of the Counties having a population of 40,083 or more inhabitants and containing therein a city of 21,000 or more inhabitants according to the last preceding federal census, and in which counties the County Attorney performs the duties of the District Attorney, to authorize the County Attorney to employ one investigator and granting to the Commissioners' Court of such counties the authority to fix the salary of such investigator at any sum not less than $2,400.00 per year and not more than $3,600.00 per year.
