Relating to the levy of a privilege tax upon the gathering of natural gas produced in this State; defining terms; excluding certain gas from the definition; requiring the keeping of records; providing for the administration and enforcement hereof by the Comptroller of Public Accounts; providing penalty for failure to pay the tax in accordance with the provisions of the Act; providing and defining an offense for failure to file the reports ad required in the Act; providing and defining an offense and a penalty for making false records or reports or hiding property upon which a lien is created under the Act; providing that taxes, fines, penalties and interest due under the Act shall be secured by a lien upon the property of such gatherer, and providing for enforcement of the lien; providing for the distribution of the revenue to be realized under the Act; providing a saving clause; repealing all laws in conflict herewith.
