SB 7, 45th 1st C.S.
Relating to providing that the Supreme Court, or any court of Civil Appeals, shall have the power, or authority, or jurisdiction to issue the writ of mandamus against a peace officer, or magistrate (except magistrates of appellate courts), as defined by the Laws of this State, or against any court or district attorney, to compel the performance of any act, or duty, which such peace officer, magistrate or district or county attorney is required by law to perform.
