HB 145, 45th R.S.
Relating to fixing the maximum compensation to be paid Deputies, Assistants, and Clerks, and the manner in which the same may be appointed and paid, and providing that the Commissioners Court in counties having a population of sixty thousand and one (60,001) and not more than one hundred thousand (100,000) inhabitants, according to the preceding Federal Census and containing a city of not less than fifty-two thousand (52,000) inhabitants according to the preceding Federal Census, may, under certain conditions, allow First Assistant or Chief Deputy, or other Assistants, Deputies or Clerks, who are heads of departments, an additional sum of Three Hundred Dollars ($300).
