SJR 1, 43rd R.S.
Proposing an amendment to Section 9 of Article 8 of the Constitution of the State of Texas, providing that for all years after 1934 the State tax on property, exclusive of the tax necessary to pay the public debt and the taxes provided for the benefit of public free school, and of taxes for the Confederate Pension, shall never exceed fifteen cents on the one hundred dollar valuation, and providing for Municipal taxation as is now provided for in said Section.
