SB 430, 43rd R.S.
Relating to providing that each person elected to the office of constable shall give bond to be approved by the commissioners court for such sum as said court may direct not less than $500.00 nor more than $1500.00 payable to the Governor and his successors in office, conditioned that he will faithfully perform all the duties required by law and will well and truly execute and return according to law all process warrants and precepts to him lawfully directed and delivered and pay over all sums of money collected by him by virtue of any such process or precepts, to whom the same are due, or their lawful attorney.
