Relating to creating the Freeport Independent School District in Brazoria county, Texas; defining its boundaries, including the present Freeport Independent School District; providing for a Board of Trustees in said District, conferring upon said District and it Board of Trustees, all the rights, powers, privileges and duties now conferred and imposed by the general laws of Texas upon Independent School Districts and Boards of Trustee thereof, providing that the present Board of Trustees continue in office until the expiration of their respective terms.
