Extending warm and deserved congratulations to Texas A&I University in Kingsville on its 50th Anniversary; recognizing and commending the tireless efforts of past and present members of the board of directors, the citizens of South Texas, the faculty and staff both past and present, the alumni, and Presidents Robert Bartow Cousins, Edward Newton Jones, Ernest Otis Loftin, John L. Nierman, Edward Newton Jones, Ernest H. Poteet, James C. Jernigan, and Gerald B. Robins of Texas A&I University in Kingsville in building a great university for this state; providing for a copy of this resolution bearing the seal of the State of Texas to be presented to the institution and its officials.
