SB 980, 64th R.S.
Relating to establishing a notification, hearing, and appelate procedure by which the parents or guardians of exceptional children shall be assured due process in the identification, evaluation, and educational placement of their children; relating to the duty of the State Board of Education and school districts to insure to the extent appropriate that exceptional children are educated in the regular classroom and that all testing and evaluation materials and procedures used in classifying and placing exceptional children shall not be racially or culturally discriminatory.
