SCR 62, 64th R.S.
Granting permission to Glyn Larue Swindell to sue the State of Texas within a period of two years after the effective date of this resolution in any court in Texas havig jurisdiction; providing that service of citation and all other necessary processes may be had upon the Attorney General of the State of Texas, at Austin, Texas, and that the suit shall be tried under the same rules of law, liability, and evidence and in like manner as suits instituted against private corporations are tried; providing that nothing in this resolution shall be construed as an admission of liability or of any fact against the state and all facts set out herein or relied on by plaintiff to recover must be proved in court; providing that nothing contained in this resolution shall constitute a waiver of any defense available to the State of Texas other than the defense of sovereign immunity to be sued without legislative permission.
