Creating the Texas Adult Probation Commission and giving it certain powers and duties; providing a termination date for the commission unless continued by law; providing for the establishment of probation offices in each judicial district of the state and for community-based correctional programs; providing for funding; authorizing benefits for personnel of probation departments; amending the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1965.
