SB 5 Caption: Relating to making an appropriation of the sum of Three Hundred Fifty Thousand ($350,000.00) Dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, out of any funds in the State Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to pay the contingent expense, and to pay the mileage and per diem of members and the per diem of officers and employees of the Regular Session of the 49th Legislature, and to pay any unpaid accounts or expenses of the 48th Legislature.

SB 272 Caption: Relating to appropriating the sum of Three Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($3,500.00), or so much thereof as may be necessary to satisfy, according to the terms thereof, the judgment rendered against the State of Texas in favor of the Mount Olivet Cemetery Company of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, in Cause No. 25570-A, in the 96th District Court of Tarrant County, Texas, such judgment having been rendered on the 9th day of August, 1943, and not having been appealed from by the State of Texas or the Texas Highway Commission, defendants in said suit, and that said judgment is now a final judgment and the case having been fully and finally disposed of by the said 96th District Court of Tarrant County, Texas.

SB 1 Caption: Relating to making an appropriation of the sum of Three Hundred Fifty Thousand ($350,000) Dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, out of any funds in the State Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to pay the contingent expenses, and to pay the mileage and per diem of members and the per diem of officers and employees of the Regular Session of the 48th Legislature, and to pay any unpaid accounts or expenses of the 47th Legislature.
SB 2 Caption: Relating to requiring all officers and employees of the State, its agencies, instrumentalities, political subdivisions and municipalities, having control over the payment of any salaries or wages to public officers or employees, to comply with the provisions of the Federal Revenue Act of 1942 requiring the withholding of the five per cent (5%) Federal Victory Income Tax from wages paid public officers and employees so long as the United States of America is at war with Germany, Japan or Italy.
SB 29 Caption: Relating to fixing the length of the terms of the District Court and the times of holding the terms of District Court in the Counties composing the 72nd Judicial District of Texas, validating and continuing all processes issued or served before this Act takes effect, including recognizances and bonds, and making them returnable to the terms of court in said counties and district as herein fixed, to validate the summoning of grand and petit juries under the present law so as to render them available in said counties under this Act, providing for the holding and closing of any term of court in session at the time this Act takes effect.
SB 46 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes so as to define the term "additional leave", allowing the Superintendents of State Hospitals to give additional leave to patients after a twelve month temporary absence.
SB 47 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes to enable the Board of Control to invite bids on printing, binding, stationery, and supplies of like character estimated to cost less than One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars without publishing the proposed letting, and prescribing the method by which the Board of Control notifies the successful bidder of the amount of the bond or certified check required.
SB 48 Caption: Relating to providing for the immediate admission into the Texas Confederate Home for Men at Austin, Texas, of all eligible Confederate Veterans, and providing for the maintenance and segregation of all Confederate Veterans who are now in said Home or may be hereafter admitted.
SB 60 Caption: Relating to conferring upon the Board of Regents of the Texas State College for Women of Texas the power of eminent domain to acquire land for the use of the College.

SB 272 Caption: Relating to amending certain Chapter of the Revised Civil Statutes providing that no person who has been elected or appointed to an executive or administrative public office in the State shall be eligible to run for nomination or election to any other public office without first resigning from the original office.
SB 471 Caption: Relating to making appropriations to pay miscellaneous claims out of the General Revenue Fund, or such other funds as may be designated herein for each item, not otherwise appropriated.
SB 505 Caption: Relating to aiding Wise County, Texas, in the procuring of land, laying out, constructing and reconstructing public roads and highways and bridges in the various Commissioners' Precincts of said County, to aid in projects sponsored by Wise County, Texas, in cooperation with Federal Works Progress Administration or its successors; providing a penalty for misappropriation of the moneys donated.
SJR 1 Caption: Proposing a constitutional amendment providing that all road-user tax revenues shall be used exclusively for road purposes under the regulations prescribed by the Legislature, excepting that one-fourth (1/4) of the net revenues derived from motor fuel taxes are allocated to the State Available School Fund.
