  • BARBEE, LEWIS N. (1856-1925). Born August 1856, "died probably on May 12 or 13, 1925, in Wilson, Oklahoma, and was interred in Hewitt Cemetery, Carter County, Oklahoma." Marriage to Delila Bays, 1880, and relocated to Wortham, Freestone County. Also served in Oklahoma House of Representatives, sworn in February 1915. Handbook of Texas Online.
