  • Possibly Augustin Salinas (father) in biographical sketch of son, Augustin Salinas (born 1886), Volume II, pp. 99-100. Notes father was a native of Laredo, and "in public life he was a leading figure, holding several high positions of honor and responsibility," former Laredo mayor, and at time of death in 1876, the district and county clerk of Webb county. A Twentieth Century History of Southwest Texas Illustrated, 1907.
