SB 160	Caption: Relating to creating "Jackson County Water Control and Improvement District Number One", a Conservation and Reclamation District; constituting such District a political subdivision of the State and a body politic and corporate; prescribing the District's powers and providing that same shall include all powers and authority granted to water control and improvement districts under the General Laws of the State pertaining thereto except as otherwise provided for in this Act; providing that confirmation election, hearing on exclusion of lands or hearing on the adoption of a plan of taxation shall not be necessary; providing that the ad valorem plan of taxation shall be used by the District; defining the boundaries of the District; providing for a Board of Directors to control and exercise the District's powers, their appointment, qualification, election, tenure and organization; providing for the levy, assessment and equalization of ad valorem taxes for the operation and maintenance of the District.
SB 161	Caption: Relating to amending Statutes relating to liens, mortgages, and fees; providing that the lien shall not be valid as against any mortgagee of a motor vehicle provided such mortgagee is without notice and has complied with the provisions of the Certificate of Title Act prior to the filing by the Comptroller with the State Highway Department a certificate which shows that a tax lien exists upon such vehicle; providing a fee of One Dollar ($1.00) and no more shall be charged by the State Highway Department to pay for the expenses of administering this Act; adding a new provision requiring persons importing and using special fuels to qualify as user-dealers and pay the taxes on such highway uses.
SB 162	Caption: Relating to apportioning the State of Texas into Congressional Districts, naming the Counties composing the same, and providing for the election of a member of the Congress of the United State from each district; repealing all laws and parts of laws in conflict herewith.
SB 209	Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts providing for the licensing and regulation of dealers in real estate; prohibiting the unlawful practice of law; providing penalties for violation of this Act; providing a savings clause.
SB 260	Caption: Relating to compensation of commissioners of drainage districts; changing the population figures in the provision relating to additional compensation and automobile expense from 200,000 to 30,000; providing that this Act shall be cumulative of other laws.
SB 274	Caption: Relating to amending the Texas Banking Code by providing a method whereby a national bank may convert into a state bank.

SB 333	Caption: Relating to regulating the practice of professional engineering in this State; revising certain provisions, deleting certain provisions, and adding certain provisions relating to the subject matter of the Act.
SB 335	Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes providing that development and operations upon areas including in Article 5353, Revised Civil Statutes, 1925, shall be done in such manner as to prevent pollution of water, destruction of fish, oysters and other marine life, and obstruction of navigation; providing that the Commission of the General Land Office shall promulgate and enforce the necessary rules and regulations.
SB 349	Caption: Relating to obtaining and maintaining additional library facilities for rural high school districts or independent school districts, now or hereafter organized, having boundaries embracing the entire area of a single county in this State, which county now has, or may hereafter have, an assessed valuation in excess of Thirty Million Dollars ($30,000,000), by authorizing courts and boards of library trustees; providing terms, conditions and limitations; repealing General Laws or parts thereof in conflict herewith.
SB 425	Caption: Relating to authorizing the commissioners' court of certain counties to expend county funds for the purpose of making surveys of water resources, upon approval of such expenditure at an election; providing for the election.
SB 440	Caption: Relating to making an appropriation to the General Land Office for paying one-half the cost of a survey of lands in connection with the case of City of Victoria vs. The State of Texas, now pending the District Court of Victoria County.
SB 446	Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts by providing that the lien shall not be valid as against any mortgagee of a motor vehicle provided such mortgagee is without notice and has complied with the provisions of the Certificate of Title Act prior to the filing by the Comptroller with the State Highway Department a certificate which shows that a tax lien exists upon such vehicles; providing a fee of One Dollar and no more shall be charged by the State Highway Department to pay for the expense of administering this Act; providing that this Act shall take precedence over any other conflicting or inconsistent laws.
SB 450	Caption: Relating to sale of real property under execution; amending Statutes so as to permit sale at some place within the courthouse other than the courthouse door and to require the notice of sale to state the time and place of sale.

HB 92	Caption: Relating to amending certain acts so as to provide for the right of appeal by any holder of a license who is affected by a rule or regulation promulgated by the Railroad Commission of Texas where such rule or regulation is unnecessary, unreasonable, or impracticable in accomplishing the purposes of said Act or is discriminatory, or unjust.
HB 93	Caption: Relating to amending certain acts so as to provide for the annual renewal of licenses issued to liquefied petroleum gas licensees.
HB 94	Caption: Relating to amending certain statutes so as to provide that the Railroad Commission of Texas shall have the power and authority, and it shall be its duty to refuse to grant an original license to any applicant or to cancel the existing license of any licenses, as it shall appear to the Commission upon hearing as herein provided, that such applicant and licensee has violated and failed to comply with any provisions of this Act.
HB 95	Caption: Relating to creating and establishing a Commission to be known as the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Commission, prescribing the number of members of said Commission, their qualifications and duties, providing for the appointment of an Executive Director and employees; giving said Commission the power and authority to make rules and regulations to carry out the purposes of this Act.
HB 119	Caption: Relating to amending certain statutes so as to provide that private corporations may be created for the encouragement of agriculture and horticulture by associations for the maintenance of public fairs and exhibitions of stock, farm products and implements, equipment or practices used in agriculture or horticulture.
HB 156	Caption: Relating to amending certain acts creating an advisory civil judicial council; providing that the council shall be known as the Texas Judicial Council; adding to the duties thereof the study of courts having criminal jurisdiction, the rules and procedure in criminal trials and appeals and the gathering of statistics and the making of recommendations regarding these procedures; providing that retired judges shall be eligible for membership on the Council, providing for severability.
HB 194	Caption: Relating to mortgages, deeds of trust or other security instruments executed by (a) corporations engaged in this State in the generation, manufacture, transmission, distribution and sale of electric energy and power to the public, (b) corporations engaged in this State in the transportation, distribution and sale through local distribution system or systems of natural gas to the public for domestic, commercial, industrial or any other use, and (c) corporations owning or operating in this State any gas pipe line or lines for the transportation and sale of natural gas to other other pipe line companies or to local distribution consumers for their own use.
