HB 88 Caption: Relating to providing a maximum speed limit in county parks situated in a county that borders on the Gulf of Mexico and prohibiting the littering of such county parks; excluding beaches from the applicability of such provisions; providing a penalty for violations.
HB 92 Caption: Relating to authorizing the Commissioners Court of any county bordering on the Gulf of Mexico or the tidewater limits thereof to regulate the speed of motor vehicles on beaches which are open and accessible to the public, and also to prohibit the littering of such beaches.
HB 133 Caption: Relating to providing that punishment for a violation upon a first conviction shall be a fine not exceeding Two Hundred Dollars ($200) in the event the check, draft or order in Twenty-Five Dollars ($25) or less.
HB 134 Caption: Relating to increasing the juror's fee in Justice of the Peace Courts from One Dollar ($1) to Three Dollars ($3) in each case; increasing the amount jurors in Justice of the Peace Courts may receive in any one day.
HB 635 Caption: Relating to amending Statutes to provide for the definition of certain terms; to provide that nothing herein shall empower any city to fix a lien against any exempt interest in property; to provide that such exemption shall be personal to the holder thereof or his successors in title, but that the owner of such property shall nevertheless be personally liable for any assessment on such property, and that nothing shall prevent a lien from attaching to any other interest in such property; to provide that said exemption may be waived; to provide that assessments against property owned in undivided interests by one or more persons, firms, or corporations may be assessed jointly.
HB 678 Caption: Relating to increasing the juror's fee in Justice of the Peace Courts from One Dollar ($1) to Three Dollars ($3) in each civil case; increasing the amount jurors in Justice of the Peace Courts may receive in any one day in civil cases; and providing that the same per diem shall be paid in civil cases to persons who respond to summons but who are excused; and providing for selection and summons of jurors for trial of cases in Justice Courts in the same manner as in county courts or county courts-at-law.
