HB 137 Caption: Relating requiring all persons, firms, or corporations operating motor trucks on the public roads and highways of the State, either for private use or for the public, for the purpose of carrying freight to obtain from the commissioners court to the county in which it is proposed to operate such motor trucks a permit to use the public road or highways of the county; providing penalties for the violation of the provisions of this Act.
HB 153 Caption: Relating to requiring holders of notes and other evidences of indebtedness subject to taxation to register same with the county clerk; fixing fee of county clerk for such service, and providing that a failure so to register and render said notes or evidences of indebtedness by the holder thereof shall render such notes or other evidences of indebtedness void and uncollectible.
HB 175 Caption: Relating to providing for the licensing of garages in this State and further providing that licensed garages shall keep only licensed automobile mechanics to repair motor vehicles left with such garages for repair; creating an automobile mechanics' Board.
HB 314 Caption: Relating to providing for the sale baled hay by weight, defining the quantity of baled hay constituting a ton, providing that baled hay sold in less quantity than a ton shall be weighed and the weight of each bale ascertained, and a tag showing the weight of each bale to be attached to the bale, and the price per bale shall be determined by the number of pounds contained in the bale, providing that it shall be unlawful to price or sell any bale or bales of hay by the bale disregarding the weight of same; making the violation of this Act a misdemeanor, fixing penalties.
