HB 244 Caption: Relating to granting M.L. Barrett of Bell County, Texas, permission to bring suit against the State of Texas and the State Highway Department, in the District Court of Bell County, Texas, for damages sustained to his property by the construction of roadbed and culvert adjacent to his land upon Highway Number 2 in Bell County, Texas.
HB 247 Caption: Relating to defining county mutual insurance companies; providing the hazards against which they may write insurance.
HB 392 Caption: Relating to construction of power and telegraph lines.
HB 464 Caption: Relating to creating a Public Utility Commission.
HB 657 Caption: Relating to requiring the development or operation of any oil or gas well from islands, marshes or waters to be done in such a way as to prevent injury or destruction to fish, oysters or shrimp; providing the Game, Fish and Oyster Commission make rules and regulations for development of oil and gas well in areas mentioned in this Act; providing a penalty for violations of this Act and regulations of the Game, Fish and Oyster Commission.
HB 793 Caption: Relating to making it unlawful for any person, firm, company or corporation to move, or cause to be moved any hog or hogs from any premises within twenty one (21) days following the injection of hog cholera virus without written permission from the Livestock Sanitary Commission and prescribing a penalty therefor.
HB 909 Caption: Relating to changing the name of the The State Home for Dependent and Neglected Children to be hereafter known as Waco State Home.
HB 949 Caption: Relating to providing that weight and other limitations shall not apply to tractors and dollies when used to transport cotton from the compress to a seaport under certain conditions.
HB 1091 Caption: Relating to validating the creation and organization of independent school districts, and validating the action of any County Board of Trustees with reference to the creation of school districts out of another independent school district.
HB 1097 Caption: Relating to making it unlawful for any person to kill quail in Falls County for three (3) years; providing for the punishment of persons violating the provisions hereof.
HB 1134 Caption: Relating to amending certain Act relating to the creation of a Fireman's Relief and Retirement Fund in the State of Texas, by exempting the premiums and assessments collected by County Mutual Insurance Companies from the tax provided in said Act.

HB 5 Caption: Relating to repealing certain Act empowering the Racing Commission to license the racing of horses.
HB 40 Caption: Relating to providing an open season for taking mourning doves and white winged doves in the State of Texas; providing a bag limit and possession limit for such birds; providing a penalty for violation of any provision of this Act.

HB 4 Caption: Relating to levying an income tax upon natural persons and corporations; providing that first tax shall be assessed in 1938 on net income for 1937.
HB 31 Caption: Relating to providing the time when mourning doves and white-winged doves may be shot in this State; providing a penalty for the violation of any such regulations.

HB 374 Caption: Relating to defining attempted burglary of a vessel, steamboat or railroad car, making attempted burglary of a vessel, steamboat or railroad car a penal offense, and providing punishment for said offense.
HJR 54 Caption: Proposing an amendment to Section 1, Article VIII, of the Constitution of Texas, and providing that the State may never impose an ad valorem tax on any property within this State or a sales tax on necessary articles of human food, excluding liquor, beverages, tobacco and tobacco products; providing that such amendment shall become effective October 1, 1936.
