SB 27	Caption: Relating to amending a certain Act to provide additional regulation of state-wide mutual assessment insurance companies.
SB 28	Caption: Relating to authorizing and empowering the Board of Directors of Texas Technological College, the Board of Directors of Texas Agricultural and Mechanical College, the Board of Regents of the University of Texas, the Board of Directors of the State Teachers' Colleges of Texas, the Board of Directors of the Texas State College for Women, and the Board of Directors of the College of Arts and Industries, to erect and equip, and contract for the erection and equipment of any dormitories, cottages or stadiums to be self-liquidating from revenues earned from same, authorizing the execution of notes and bonds therefor, and providing in addition to revenues earned by said improvements to allow in the event of an emergency supplementing same from not exceeding twenty-five (25%) per cent of local funds and authorizing the respective Boards of said Institutions to do any and all things necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act.
SB 35	Caption: Relating to making an emergency appropriation out of any money in the State Treasury for the operation, support and maintenance of the Big Spring State Hospital, Big Spring, Texas, until September 1, 1939.
SB 75	Caption: Relating to regulating brokers who sell transportation or who may make any contract, agreement or arrangement to provide, procure, furnish or arrange for transportation, furnish information relative to such transportation, or introduce parties; providing penalties.
SB 261	Caption: Relating to making it unlawful to kill quail in Gaines, Terry and Yoakum Counties, Texas for a period of five years; providing a penalty for the violation of this Act.
SB 292	Caption: Relating to authorizing the County Board of Trustees in certain counties to set aside a certain amount of the Available School Fund apportioned to such counties to defray certain expenses in the administration of the scholastic affairs of such counties.
SB 304	Caption: Relating to amending a certain Statute by providing for the exemption from the provisions of same corporations operating or hereafter to operate under a certain Act and having on deposit with the State Treasurer or other approved depository $100,000.00.
SB 314	Caption: Relating to validating the organization and creation of all school districts and requiring the vote of citizens before changing boundaries.
SB 343	Caption: Relating to repealing a certain Act requiring school districts to pay costs of trustee elections instead of county.
SB 344	Caption: Relating to validating the organization and creation of all county line independent school districts heretofore formed under certain conditions by the consolidation of an existing county line independent district with a contiguous common school district; authorizing and empowering all school districts mentioned in this Act to levy, assess, and collect the same rate of tax.
SB 399	Caption: Relating to fixing the salary of the Superintendent of Public Instruction in each county of Texas having a population of not less than eleven thousand and twenty-one (11,021) nor more than eleven thousand and fifty (11,050) according to the latest Federal Census.
SB 420	Caption: Relating to prescribing the method for the annexation of unoccupied territory contiguous and adjacent to the city limits of certain incorporated cities or towns, on petition of the owners of all such territory.
SB 433	Caption: Relating to enabling common school districts in each county of Texas having a population of not less than eleven thousand twenty-one (11,021) nor more than eleven thousand fifty (11,050), to vote bonds, levy taxes for the same, for the purpose of purchasing not more than one school bus, or one school bus body, or one school bus chassis.
SB 441	Caption: Relating to authorizing County Boards of School Trustees to abolish and/or subdivide common school districts having fewer than ten (10) scholastics and not having conducted a school for a period of five (5) years.
SB 442	Caption: Relating to creating County-wide Equalization School Districts, for tax purposes, in all counties having a population of not less than twenty-seven hundred seventy-five (2775) and not more than twenty-eight hundred fifty (2850), according to the last preceding Federal Census, and containing a valuation of Seven Million ($7,000,000,00) Dollars or more.
SB 444	Caption: Relating to providing for a rural school music supervisor in certain counties.
SB 465	Caption: Relating to authorizing the Board of Directors of Texas Technological College at Lubbock, Texas, to select and lease a tract of land upon the campus of said college to the Texas National Guard Armory Board for purpose of erecting thereon an armory and other buildings to be used by Texas National Guard.
SB 466	Caption: Relating to amending a certain Statute fixing salaries of Commissioners in certain counties by permitting Commissioners' Court of such counties to determine such salaries so long as they are not in excess of Eighteen Hundred ($1800.00) Dollars per year.
SCR 23	Caption: Authorizing appropriation from the contingent expense fund to pay for a portrait of Governor James V. Allred to be placed in the rotunda of the Capitol.
SJR 18	Caption: Proposing a constitutional amendment amending a certain Section of an Article to provide a single chamber Legislature.

SB 22	Caption: Relating to prohibiting the buying and selling of pools or receiving or making bets on horse racing and providing a penalty for its violation.
SB 109	Caption: Relating to providing that failure to submit an issue shall not be deemed ground to reverse a judgment unless submission is requested in writing by parties complaining thereof.
SB 110	Caption: Relating to authorizing courts to reform defective, informal or conflicting verdicts at the bar.
SB 111	Caption: Relating to allowing the jury to hear the court reporter read from his notes where there is any disagreement among the jury as to the statement of any witness.
SB 112	Caption: Relating to providing the number of jurors which may render a verdict in civil cases.
SB 154	Caption: Relating to confining reversals for errors to substance and merit, providing that the Courts of Civil Appels shall not reverse a judgment for errors not calculated to cause and which probably did not cause rendition of an improper judgment, or probably prevented appellant from making a proper presentation of the case on appeal.
SB 155	Caption: Relating to providing the court may submit causes upon special issues in civil cases with or without request of either party, shall submit the cause upon special issues raised by the pleadings and the evidence.
SB 156	Caption: Relating to amending certain statute relating to the form of verdicts of juries in civil cases so as to provide that in the trial of civil cases nine members of the jury concurring may render a verdict in the district court.
SB 170	Caption: Relating to providing relief for the Old Glory Rural High Common School District No. 4 of Stonewall County, Texas, in replacing buildings and equipment destroyed by a disastrous fire on December 13th, 1936.
SB 181	Caption: Relating to providing for the purchase of a site and for the establishment, location and construction of a hospital for the white mentally ill, naming the same, and providing for the care, treatment and support of white mentally ill persons.
SB 227	Caption: Relating to governing the creation of Junior Colleges; providing that a proposed district may have less than seven thousand (7,000) scholastic enrollment but not less than five thousand (5,000).
SB 346	Caption: Relating to exempting school and road districts from limitations in tax collection suits.
SB 347	Caption: Relating to providing that the liens on unpaid taxes shall constitute a first lien superior to all other liens.
SB 459	Caption: Relating to validating all elections and proceedings had in connection with the formation of Andrews Independent School District of Andrews County, Texas.
SB 469	Caption: Relating to creating a Special Road Law for Motley County, Texas, providing that said County may fund or refund the indebtedness outstanding against its Road and Bridge Fund as of January 11, 1937, by the issuance of funding bonds, and setting forth the method of operation.
SB 470	Caption: Relating to fixing the maximum rate of tax to be levied for school purposes in all Independent School Districts which include within their limits a City or Town which according to the latest Federal Census had a population of not fewer than thirteen thousand seven hundred (13,700), and not more than thirteen thousand eight hundred (13,800) inhabitants, whether organized under General or Special Law.
SB 500	Caption: Relating to creating a Special Road Law for Kent County, Texas, providing that said County may fund or refund designated interest-bearing time warrants in an amount not exceeding Forty-one Thousand Five Hundred ($41,500.00) Dollars outstanding against its Road and Bridge Fund as of March 15, 1937, by the issuance of funding bonds and setting forth the method of issuing same.
SB 510	Caption: Relating to validating the transfer of territory proceedings detaching territory from the Center Plains Common School District No. 4 and the Science Hill Common School District No. 8, both of Hale County, Texas, and attaching same to the Cotton Center Independent School District of Hale County, Texas, including petitions, hearings, orders, notices, elections, orders declaring results of elections, assumption of indebtedness, and ratifying changes made by the County Board of School Trustees of Hale County, Texas, in the Cotton Center Independent School District of Hale County, Texas.
