HB 131 Caption: Relating to levying gross receipts taxes on wholesale and retail merchants, and severance taxes upon those producing sulphur, natural gas, and oil, for the purpose of providing revenues to pay Old Age Assistance, and to enable the State to meet its obligations to the Destitute Children, Needy Blind, and Teachers Retirement Fund; imposing penalties both civil and penal for failure to report and pay such taxes.
