HB 2 Caption: Relating to making appropriations for certain sums of money for the use and benefit of the Texas Liquor Control Board for the fiscal year ending August 31, 1945.
HB 10 Caption: Relating to providing for the prevention and control of diseases; giving the State Health Officer and State Board of Health authority to promulgate orders, rules and regulations for the protection of the public health; authorizing the State Board of Health to receive public donations and cooperate with the Texas Water and Sanitation Research Foundation and other foundations for furtherance of public health research; repealing all laws, articles, sections, and subdivisions of laws which conflict or are inconsistent with this Act; prescribing a penalty; providing a saving clause.
HB 28 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts to require personal sureties to file a statement with the County Clerk of each county wherein is located real property which is used as security for any guardians bond in excess of $1,000.00, and creating a lien on such real property.

HB 77 Caption: Relating to authorizing and requiring County Commissioners' Courts in certain counties to pay employees salaries while unfit for the discharge of such duties from injuries received in the line of duty; providing mode and manner of payment of such salaries.

HB 671 Caption: Relating to authorizing savings and loan associations, banks, insurance companies, and other corporations or other organizations, similar or dissimilar, to lend and to buy and sell for their own account, obligations in which except as to a value of property and dignity of lien thereon securing the obligation it is otherwise lawful for such investor to invest its own funds, (by direct loan or by purchase), if the entire amount of the indebtedness is insured or guaranteed in any manner by the United States or by this State.
HB 672 Caption: Relating to authorizing the control by the Board of Insurance Commissioners of the State of Texas of the business of casualty, fidelity, surety and guaranty insurance.
HB 680 Caption: Relating to amending certain Article relating to certain described lines of insurance; also providing for the filing by insurance companies and rating bureaus and associations of underwriters of rates and rating plans, policy forms and endorsements applicable to certain lines of insurance written by fire insurance companies and the approval or disapproval thereof by the Board of Insurance Commissioners of Texas.
HB 684 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts by providing for the assessment and collection of a maintenance tax on gross premiums on all insurers and collection of a maintenance tax on gross premiums on all insurers writing Title Insurance to defray the salaries and expenses of carrying out the provisions of said Chapter, as amended, and providing that any unexpended balance shall be carried over in succeeding years in a separate fund and shall reduce the assessments for succeeding years.
HB 834 Caption: Relating to creating a conservation district wholly within Bexar County, Texas, to be known as Bexar Metropolitan Water District, pursuant to and for the purposes set forth in Article 16, Section 59 of the Constitution of Texas, to be a governmental agency, body politic and corporate, with power to control, conserve, protect, preserve, distribute, and utilize storm and flood waters of rivers and streams and underground waters situated in the District and to control and regulate the accumulation and disposal of sewage, wastes, refuse, and residuum to protect and preserve the purity of the surface and underground waters; to make rules and regulations pertaining to the operations and providing penalties for violations thereof; providing a savings clause.
HB 856 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts by providing that in all incorporated cities and towns containing more than one hundred and seventy-five thousand (175,000) inhabitants according to the last preceding or any future Federal Census, the governing body shall have power to lay out, acquire, and construct any section or portion of any street within its jurisdiction as a freeway under certain circumstances; repealing all laws in conflict.

HB 350 Caption: Relating to providing that Judges of the County Courts at Law in counties of less than five hundred thousand (500,000) population may act for the County Judge of the county in any juvenile, lunacy, probate and condemnation proceeding or matter, and also may perform any and all other ministerial acts required by law of the County Judge, during the absence, inability or failure of the County Judge for any reason to perform such duties.
HB 368 Caption: Relating to empowering the Commissioners Court to create the office of Veterans County Service Office and authorizing the appointment by the Commissioners Court of a Veterans County Service Officer and Assistant Veterans County Services Officers and other necessary personnel.

HB 94 Caption: Relating to amending the General and Special Laws relative to the issuance of an arrest warrant in lunacy cases, whereby the sheriff or constable executing said warrant with the consent of any State Hospital Superintendent may place said person in such Hospital to be taken before the County Judge.
HB 95 Caption: Relating to authorizing the Commissioners' Court of certain counties to rent or let to any landowner any tractor, grader, machinery, or equipment belonging to said county to be used in construction for the purpose of soil conservation and soil erosion prevention, and for the purpose of constructing water tanks and reservoirs.
