HB 88	Caption: Relating to amending a previous Act, so as to provide for increasing pay of injured employees in Workman's Compensation cases.
HB 157	Caption: Relating to amending a previous Act, relative to defining employee, employer and sub-contractor and providing the payment of compensation to employees who perform labor for another even though such employee be employed to perform such labor at a contract price or by piece work.
HB 238	Caption: Relating to providing that before the State Highway Department shall issue any Transfer Certificate or Certificate of Title for any motor vehicle, said Department shall be furnished a receipt or certificate from the Tax Collector of the County, in which said motor vehicle is registered showing the payment of all Ad Valorem Taxes on such motor vehicles and providing that sales in violation of this Act shall be void.
HB 239	Caption: Relating to fixing a lien upon the property of persons receiving Old Age Assistance from the State upon the death of such person, with certain exemptions; and providing that gifts and transference of the property of such beneficiary prior to his death shall be invalid; and providing for foreclosure of the lien.
HB 355	Caption: Relating to appropriating the sum of Twenty Five Hundred Dollars ($2500) and interest thereon from March 20, 1946, to pay the judgment in favor of H. A. Piercy against the State of Texas.
HB 431	Caption: Relating to making the payment of all ad valorem taxes due the State of Texas and the County in which the land is situated a prerequisite to the filing and recording of any warranty or special warranty deed to real estate.
HB 535	Caption: Relating to making it unlawful for any public official who receives compensation in excess of Three Thousand Six Hundred ($3,600) Dollars per annum for performance of his official duties to do any law practice not incidental to the duties of his office; fixing a penalty.

HJR 11	Caption: Relating to proposing a constitutional amendment to provide for a Board for apportioning the State into senatorial districts and representative districts in the event the Legislature fails to make such apportionment.

HB 43	Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes providing additional methods of proving the execution of written wills offered for probate; pertaining to those absent in the Armed Forces of otherwise unavailable as witnesses.

HB 402	Caption: Relating to establish uniform administrative procedure in State Agencies, as provided for in Art. V., Sec. 25, Constitution of Texas.
HB 416	Caption: Relating to enacting legislation governing pollution, so as to make the person actually in charge of premises that are the real source of pollution of water, liable for fines and costs, whether master or servant, principal or agent, or only acting for himself upon his own authority and personal responsibility.

HB 501	Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts by authorizing any city or county to issue its general obligation bonds or warrants for the purpose of acquiring and improving land for airport purposes.
HB 591	Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes so as to authorize the Railroad Commission of Texas to require the recycling of hydrocarbon gas back into the reservoir from which said gas was produced so as to maintain fresh reservoir pressure and conserve reservoir energy by preventing gases coming out of solution.
HB 619	Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes relating to right of recovery of damages by an employee of a subscriber to the Workmen's Compensation Act of Texas who is injured under circumstances creating a legal liability in some person other than the subscribing employer or his agents.
HB 649	Caption: Relating to authorize and require all enforcing agencies under laws of Texas by Legislative, Executive, or Judicial departments of the State Government (or cities and counties where practical) to procure and rely on advisory opinions from administrative officers, faculty members, teachers, instructors, professors and graduate degree students of state supported educational institutions, including Universities, Texas A&M College, as financed by or banned in the Constitution of Texas, to extent subjects enumerated in this Act are required to insure reasonable, fair and just enforcement and administration of laws, with due process and equal protection of the laws; suspending all laws in conflict herewith.
HB 727	Caption: Relating to amending certain Article to prohibit corporations, partnerships, firms, organizations, clubs, or associations of any and all kind and character, or any legal entity, other than an individual, their officers, directors, stockholders, employees, trustees, and agents acting in their behalf, from expending or promising to expend any money or thing of value in order to aid or hinder the nomination or election of any person to public office or to influence the vote on any question submitted to the voters; providing a penalty for the violation thereof; providing a saving clause.
