SB 363 Caption: Relating to requiring applicants for registration of vehicles subject to registration by law to present to the county tax collector to whom application for registration is made a statement showing the county, city or towns by which such vehicles were taxable for the preceding year, and to exhibit to such tax collector receipts, certificates or sworn statements showing payment of all county, city or town ad valorem taxes for such preceding year, for which such vehicle was taxable.
SB 367 Caption: Relating to making it unlawful to take or kill any deer in Fisher County for a period of ten (10) years from the effective date of this Act; providing penalties for violation of this Act.
SB 386 Caption: Relating to authorizing the State Board of Education to combine subjects on recommendation of the State Textbook Committee and the State Commissioner of Education and to adopt text books for such combined subjects, and providing the manner and method therefor.
SB 425 Caption: Relating to making an emergency appropriation to the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners out of its own Fund, designated as Chiropractic Fund 140, for operating expenses from April 27, 1951, to August 31, 1951, both dates inclusive.
SB 432 Caption: Relating to making it unlawful to catch or take any type of fish from the waters of Lake Colorado City in Mitchell County for the purpose of sale; providing a penalty for violation of this Act.
SB 454 Caption: Relating to making an appropriation to the Judicial Section - Comptroller's Department in the sum of Seven Thousand Dollars ($7,000), or so much thereof as may be necessary, out of any funds in the State Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to pay the salaries and expenses of the District Judge and the District Attorney of the 132nd Judicial District from the effective date of Senate Bill 17, Acts of the 52nd Legislature, to the end of the fiscal year ending August 31, 1951.
SB 474 Caption: Relating to providing that in the issuance of revenue bonds for improving, enlarging and extending a waterworks system, cities may issue such bonds in two series, one of which shall be payable from and secured by a pledge of all or part of the proceeds of a water supply contract and the other to be secured by and payable from the net revenues of the waterworks system or the waterworks and sewer systems other than the proceeds of such contract.

SB 53 Caption: Relating to appropriating the sum of Forty-Four Hundred ($4,400.00) Dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, to satisfy and pay, according to the terms thereof, that certain judgment rendered against The State of Texas and the Highway Department of the State of Texas in favor of Ed Davis, and wife, Cora Davis, in cause No. 7415, in the District Court of Haskell County, Texas, in the 39th Judicial District of Texas, such judgment having become final and no appeal prosecuted therefrom.
SB 102 Caption: Relating to validating Independent School Districts which have been enlarged by consolidations with other Districts and by orders of County Boards of School Trustees, and whose boundaries have been defined by orders of County Boards of School Trustees of the county in which the principal school of the Independent District is situated.
SB 150 Caption: Relating to making it unlawful for any prisoner convicted of a felony and sentenced to serve a term in the penitentiary to escape from prison, or the lawful custody of an officer, or any other person authorized by law to have such prisoner in his custody; prescribing a penalty for violation thereof.
SB 170 Caption: Relating to amending Statutes relating to registration of commercial vehicles by the State Highway Department; providing a saving clause; repealing all laws in conflict herewith.
SB 171 Caption: Relating to establish minimum educational standards for chiropractors; to define and regulate the practice of Chiropractic; to fix penalties for the violation of this Act; to repeal all laws in conflict; to provide that if any part is held unconstitutional it shall not invalidate any other part.
SB 214 Caption: Relating to validating independent School Districts which were originally established in one county but which have been re-defined by County Boards of Trustees so as to include territory in more than one county where an order re-defining and fixing such boundaries has been passed by the County Board of Trustees of each county in which such district is situated.
SB 285 Caption: Relating to amending a previous Act, appropriations made to the Firemen's Pension Commissioner to include the word "salaries" for the purpose of payment of salaries of seasonal help.
SB 376 Caption: Relating to renaming and amending a previous Act, to provide for the deposit of securities, and the payment of taxes, fines, penalties, certificates of authority, valuation of policies, license fees, and the performances of any other special burden by any group of individuals, society, association or corporation of any other state or country, transacting the business of life insurance, personal accident insurance, life and accident insurance, or health and accident insurance, the laws of which require similar deposits, payments or burdens in such states or countries by similar insurance organizations of the State of Texas which may be enacted in such insurance business in such other state or country.
SB 377 Caption: Relating to requiring all cities, towns and villages incorporated under the laws of this State to have prepared and file revised maps or plats showing additional territory annexed by their corporate boundaries.
SB 404 Caption: Relating to making it unlawful to take minnows from any of the waters of Mitchell County under certain conditions; providing a penalty; repealing all laws in conflict herewith.
SB 451 Caption: Relating to creating a conservation district under Article XVI, Section 59, of the Constitution comprising the territory contained within and adjacent to the City of Eastland in Eastland County, Texas, for the purpose of providing a source of water supply for municipal, domestic and industrial use and processing and transporting the same; prescribing the other powers of the district; enacting other provisions relating to this subject.
SB 452 Caption: Relating to authorizing the Commissioner of the General Land Office to reinstate sales of land in Fisher County forfeited prior to September 1, 1941 and on which applications have been filed for reinstatement prior to April 15, 1949, and on which there are no intervening rights of a third person.

SB 411 Caption: Relating to making it unlawful for any person to hunt, snare, kill, or attempt to kill by any means whatsoever any wild deer, buck, doe, fawn, or wild turkey in Throckmorton and Haskell Counties for a period of five (5) years from and after the passage of this Act; providing a penalty therefor.
SJR 3 Caption: Proposing an amendment providing for the distribution of the available School Fund as therein provided to the several counties on a basis of scholastic attendance instead of scholastic population.

SB 31 Caption: Relating to amending certain law relating to the collection and apportionment of motor vehicle license fees, providing for the distribution and apportionment of such fees as between the State, Counties, and Cities or Towns in such Counties, providing that remittance to the Highway Department shall be accompanied by designated reports, restricting the use of moneys paid to Counties and Cities or Towns, and providing that this Act shall take effect and be in force from and after the 1st day of January, A.D. 1946.

SB 150 Caption: Relating to prohibit motor bus companies which are or may be actually and lawfully engaged in operation from discriminating on schedules having empty seats against intending passengers on the ground that the trip they propose is between points within the boundaries of the State of Texas.
SB 219 Caption: Relating to making a certain emergency appropriation for the Court of Civil Appeals, Eleventh District, at Eastland, Texas, for the remainder of the current fiscal year ending August 31, 1945.

SJR 3 Caption: Proposing an amendment to Section 5 of Article VII of the Constitution of the State of Texas by providing for the distribution of the available School Fund as therein provided to the several counties on a basis of scholastic attendance instead of according to their scholastic population; providing for an election on the question of the adoption or rejection of such amendment; providing for the proclamation and publication therefor; prescribing the form of ballot therefor; and making an appropriation to defray the expenses of such publication and election.
SJR 17 Caption: Proposing an amendment to Article VIII of the Constitution of the State of Texas, providing that all road-user tax revenues shall be used exclusively for road purposes under the regulations prescribed by the Legislature, excepting that one-fourth (1/4) of the net revenues derived from motor fuel taxes are allocated to the State Available School Fund.

SB 49 Caption: Relating to issuance of State teachers certificates to teachers in schools for deaf or blind.
SB 50 Caption: Relating to declaring the Texas School for the Deaf of Austin, Texas, the Deaf, Dumb and Blind Institute at Austin, Texas, and the Texas School for the Blind to be educational institutions and fixing sums that may be charged parents of such children enrolled therein as incidental costs connected with educational work.
SB 73 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes by providing for the recording of field notes, plats, and other documents subject to being recorded in the County Surveyor's records, the issuance of certificate of facts and other certified copies of documents of record in the County Surveyor's office.
SB 91 Caption: Relating to providing for the closed season on Mourning Doves and Quail in Scurry County, Texas, for a period of five (5) years; prescribing penalty for the violation of this Act; repealing all laws in conflict.
SB 132 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes by providing formulas to be used by the State Board of Education in estimating the necessary amount to operate the schools for a period of not less than six (6) months.
SB 133 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes by providing that no rate for school purposes shall exceed the amount required to produce a total available school fund to pay an appropriation in excess of the amount prescribed in certain Article.
SB 172 Caption: Relating to creating the "Texas State Textbook Committee" providing the qualifications and terms of office for the members of said committee, providing for meetings of said committee, etc.; providing for penalty for violation of terms of Act.
SB 216 Caption: Relating to appropriating funds out of the General Revenue Fund of the State of Texas to pay for the costs of giving college entrance examinations by the State Superintendent of Public Instruction for the remaining biennium of 1942-43.
SB 217 Caption: Relating to providing for the refunding of the State of Texas bonds held for the account of permanent school fund.
SB 263 Caption: Relating to requiring all persons buying livestock and all persons who receive livestock for the purpose of sale within ten (10) days thereof, other than his own livestock, to issue to the owner of such livestock, or, duly authorized agent or representative a livestock receipt thereafter showing the kind and number of livestock bought or received for the purpose of sale, the date received, the location of the business where such livestock were bought or received for the purpose of sale, providing such received should be numbered consecutively in the order of their issue; prescribing a penalty for the violation thereof.
SB 264 Caption: Relating to providing for equalization of terms in Counties having a population of not less than twelve thousand, six hundred ninety three (12,693) nor more than thirty thousand (30,000), according to the last Federal Census, and containing a valuation of twenty-five million ($25,000,000.00) Dollars or more.
SB 275 Caption: Relating to amending certain laws providing for a rental payment of $.10 per acre, to accompany each mineral prospect permit application.
