HB 158 Caption: Relating to providing that the restriction of the presentation of petitions to the Commissioners Court for the establishment of a county hospital to intervals of not less than twelve (12) months shall not be applicable to counties which at the time of presentation of any such petition have no county-owned hospital; prohibiting the submission of a bond election to the voters more than twice in any twelve-month period.
HB 272 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes by increasing the compensation of "district supervisors" of levee improvement districts to be fixed by the Commissioners Courts.

HB 80 Caption: Relating to authorizing school districts having all or the major portion of their territory situated within counties of forty thousand (40,000) inhabitants or more, according to the last preceding Federal Census, to levy, assess and collect a combined bond and maintenance tax not to exceed Two ($2.00) Dollars on the One Hundred ($100.00) dollars valuation of taxable property therein; providing for the maximum bond tax of not to exceed One ($1.00) Dollar on the One Hundred ($100.00) dollars valuation; providing that such tax shall be effective until authorized by a vote of the majority of qualified property taxpaying voters residing in such districts and owning taxable property therein which has been duly rendered for taxation.
