HB 862 Caption: Relating to creating a Conservation District comprising certain territory contained within Harris County, Texas, without power of taxation, for the purpose of providing a source of water supply for municipal, domestic and industrial use and processing, transporting and distributing the same and to purchase or acquire existing water systems, and to purchase, acquire or construct additions, extensions or improvements thereto, and to purchase, acquire or construct sanitary sewer systems, and to purchase, acquire or construct additions, extensions or improvements thereto.
HB 898 Caption: Relating to constituting a local law for the maintenance of public highways for Harris County, to become operative after an election shall have been held and carried in said County; authorizing the Tax Collector of Harris County to collect certain amounts of money from owners of vehicles in the County; requiring owners of such vehicles, upon which the registration fee is required to be paid in Harris County, to pay such money to the Tax Collector; prohibiting the operation of any such vehicle on the roads, highways or streets of Harris County without the payment of such money; adopting the provisions of the Penal Code.

HJR 23 Caption: Proposing an Amendment to Section 9 of Article VIII of the Constitution of Texas so as to provide that the Commissioners Court in each county may levy whatever sums may be necessary for general fund purposes, permanent improvement fund purposes, road and bridge purposes and jury purposes so long as the total of these tax rates does not exceed eighty (80) cents on the one hundred dollars valuation in any one year, and providing further that the Commissioners Court shall not impair any outstanding bonds or other obligations; providing for the necessary election and form of ballot; and providing for the necessary proclamations and publications.

HB 61 Caption: Relating to amending statutes relative to providing a fee of One Dollar ($1) to be charged by the county clerk of each county in this State for the performance of services rendered in the filing or recording of federal liens and other documents provided in Article 6644.
HB 356 Caption: Relating to amending Article 5160, entitled Bond for Wages, providing for the payment of claims of those who furnish to contractors or sub-contractors equipment on a rental basis or services in the construction or repair of any public building, eliminating therefrom the requirement for filing an itemized statement of claim with the County Clerk, providing for the retention of twenty per cent of the contract price, and for a lien thereon in favor of claimants.
HB 359 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts describing certain things which a foreign corporation may do without being considered to be transacting business in this State.
HB 388 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts by providing that notwithstanding any other provisions herein to the contrary, the person entitled to reimbursement of tax paid by him, less the one per cent (1%) allowed the distributors shall only be entitled to three-fourths (3/4) of the refund and the remaining one-fourth (1/4) of the refund to be allocated to the Available School Fund of the State of Texas.
HB 594 Caption: Relating to authorizing the Railroad Commission of Texas to approve agreements for construction and operation of cooperative facilities for conservation and utilization of gas, after notice and hearing and certain findings by the Commission.
HB 774 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes so as to clarify the amount of workmen's compensation which an employee is entitled to receive in certain cases of partial incapacity.
HB 856 Caption: Relating to amending Harris County Road Law to provide for a minimum county road width, provide for regulating the acceptance, recording and maintenance of roads, providing that no plat or subdivision shall be filed unless the roads set out therein are of such width and constructed to certain specifications.

HB 91 Caption: Relating to amending certain Bills regulating the use of polling places in counties having a population in excess of eight hundred thousand (800,000) inhabitants, according to the last preceding Federal Census.
HB 92 Caption: Relating to amending the Texas Liquor Control Act, increasing the annual State fee for a Retail Dealer's On-Premise License and a Retail Dealer's Off-Premise License for the sale of beer.
HB 93 Caption: Relating to amending the Texas Liquor Control Act, relating to cancellation or suspension of beer licenses.
HB 106 Caption: Relating to authorizing the Commissioners Court of certain counties to establish traffic zones on county roads and on county property used for the parking or movement of motor vehicles and to otherwise regulate the presence and operation of motor vehicles on such roads and on such county property; prescribing penalties for violation of its provisions, and making it applicable to all counties having a population of eight hundred thousand (800,000) or more.
HB 107 Caption: Relating to authorizing the Commissioners Court of any county having a population of eight hundred thousand (800,000) inhabitants or more, according to the last preceding Federal Census, to declare certain areas to be subject to a rabies epidemic of the dog population thereof and to establish regulations therefor; declaring certain acts to be offenses and prescribing penalties for violation of its provisions.
