HB 153 Caption: Relating to amending the Penal Code of Texas to make the first offense of wife or child desertion a misdemeanor and subsequent offenses felonies; prescribing penalties.
HB 389 Caption: Relating to making it unlawful to drive, operate, propel or take away or attempt to drive, operate, propel or take away a vehicle as is defined by this Act the property of another and with intent to deprive said owner of the possession of such vehicle, and making such Act a felony.
HB 390 Caption: Relating to making it unlawful for any person to make or file a false or fraudulent report to police authorities alleging theft of vehicles; making it unlawful for any law enforcement officer to fail to act immediately upon a bone fide complete; providing for a penalty for the violation of this Act.
HB 391 Caption: Relating to the crimes of arson and malicious mischief, to prevent the willful or malicious burning, wrecking, damaging or other destruction of any vehicle, or implement of husbandry, and to prevent the aiding, procuring or counseling of such burning, wrecking, damaging or other destruction to such property, if such property is insured or mortgaged; providing a penalty for violating this Act.
HB 393 Caption: Relating to levying an occupation tax on the gross receipts of trade stamp dealers, defining trade stamps and dealers; providing for the filing of reports by and the collection of taxes from trade stamp dealers; describing certain duties of the Comptroller; providing penalties for violation of this Act.
HB 400 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts to provide for the licensing and regulation of auto wreckers, junk dealers, and rebuilders of motor vehicles for resale; defining the term "Person"; determining who shall obtain a license; providing for annual renewal of such license; placing the administration of the law in the State Highway Department and enumerating its rights, powers, and duties in respect thereto.
HB 467 Caption: Relating to amending the Veterans' Land Fund Act so as to define the duties of the Veterans' Land Board; defining the duties of the Chairman of said Board.
HB 570 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts to provide for a physical examination of the motor numbers, serial numbers, or permanent identification numbers of all motor vehicles last registered, titled or used in any other state or country.
HB 603 Caption: Relating to levying an annual tax of fifty cents upon telephone poles erected and maintained by any individual, company, corporation or association owning, operating or managing or controlling any telephone line, or lines, or any telephones within this State, and charging for the use of same; providing for the collection of such tax; providing a penalty for failure to pay such tax.
HB 893 Caption: Relating to creating a conservation and reclamation district to be known as "Boiling Municipal Water District"; setting forth certain powers of said district; enacting other provisions relating to the subject.
HB 945 Caption: Relating to validating the incorporation of all cities and towns of five thousand (5,000) inhabitants or less, heretofore incorporated or attempted to be incorporated under the General Laws of Texas; validating the boundary lines at the time of such incorporation and the extension of those boundaries; validating governmental proceedings; providing that this Act shall not apply to any city or town now involved in litigation questioning the legality of the incorporation.

HCR 138 Caption: Suspending the Joint Rules of the Legislature to allow either house to consider H. B. No. 400 at any time.
HJR 29 Caption: Proposing an Amendment to Section 49-b, Article III, Constitution of Texas, changing the composition of the Veterans' Land board; increasing the total amount of bonds or obligations that may be issued by the Veterans' Land Board to Two Hundred Million Dollars ($200,000,000.00); making other changes relative to the issuance and sale of bonds and the use and disposition of the proceeds therefrom; providing for an election and the issuance of a proclamation therefor.
