SB 364 Caption: Relating to providing that it shall be unlawful to set on fire, or cause to be set on fire, or to use fire or smoke in any manner in, on, or around, any den or hollow tree within any woods or forest, or upon any cutover land, brushland, rangeland, or grasslands for the purpose of driving or smoking out game animals or bird from such den or hollow tree; declaring violation of this Act to be a misdemeanor punishable by a fine, and prescribing a penalty for the violation thereof.
SB 365 Caption: Relating to amending certain acts so as to declare to be ex-officio the duties of the legislative members and the Board of Directors of the Texas Agricultural and Mechanical College System member in serving on the advisory committee therein mentioned, as well as to declare that their serving as committee members shall not be construed as holding an office or position of honor, trust or profit under this State or a civil office of emolument.

HB 63 Caption: Relating to amending Statutes so as to declare as abandoned all certified filings heretofore filed with and permits heretofore issued by the Board of Water Engineers and permits heretofore issued by the Board of Water Engineers and permits hereafter issued by the Texas Water Commission, which certified filings and permits authorize the appropriation of public waters, when no part of the waters authorized to be appropriated has ever been put to beneficial use at any time during a ten-year period preceding the effective date of this Act or the date of cancellation proceedings authorized hereby.
HB 130 Caption: Relating to amending Statutes so as to add the additional requirement that everyone desiring to store, impound or retard the storm and flood waters of the State shall obtain a permit from the Board of Water Engineers, or its successors, before commencing construction of such water projects; exempting structures impounding two hundred (200) acre feet of water or less under certain conditions and for certain purposes.
HB 689 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts to enlarge the purpose for which a surplus in the sinking fund for county road bonds may be used; repealing conflicting laws.
HB 803 Caption: Relating to creating a more efficient road system for Gregg County, Texas, for laying out, opening, widening, grading, draining, constructing, building and repairing the public roads of Gregg County other than designated State highways in Gregg County.

HB 305 Caption: Relating to amending certain statutes relating to the presumption of death after the absence of seven years, so as to make liable only the persons who received such estate by virtue of such presumption, in the event that the person presumed to be dead is found to be alive and demands his estate.
HB 627 Caption: Relating to amending certain acts providing for the time of collecting taxes in Junior College Districts whose boundaries are not coterminous with an Independent School District; providing for the repeal of all laws in conflict herewith to the extent of such conflict.
HB 628 Caption: Relating to regulating, conserving and protecting the wildlife of all counties affected by the Tidal Waters of this State.
HB 649 Caption: Relating to amending certain statutes by establishing and constituting a Juvenile Board in certain counties to be composed of the county judge and district judges; designating a chairman and administrative officer therefor; providing that such Board shall be established and constituted in each county having therein two (2) district courts wherein one of said judicial districts includes two (2) counties; and in which such one-county judicial district there is located a city with a population of more than 24,000 according to the last preceding Federal Census.
HB 764 Caption: Relating to providing for a period of limitation of four (4) years within which to present to the Legislature claims against the State or for consent to sue the State upon such claims, and providing that failure to present a claim to the Legislature for payment within such time or to apply for consent to sue upon such claim within such time shall forever bar such claim.

HB 676 Caption: Relating to authorizing any city having less than sixty thousand (60,000) population which is operating under a home rule charter, and which city on January 1, 1949, owned and was operating a public parking lots, to issue revenue bonds for permanent improvements to such lots; containing a severability provision.
HB 704 Caption: Relating to providing a minimum one-eighth royalty on oil and gas; declaring the act to be severable.
