Charge: This report should address the charge below.
1. The committee shall be charged with the responsibility of determining any and all ways and means of eliminating unessential expenditures in Texas State Government operations; developing management procedures and patterns in the various State departments, agencies and institutions whereby State services authorized by law may be more economically and efficiently rendered to the people of this State; and reporting on these and other matters contributing to the general objectives of this Resolution to the Senate at such times and in such manner as it may deem desirable.
